Developments of a Multidisciplinary Computing Visualization System
The presentation addresses architectural design and developments of an ad hoc visualization system, which is intentionally applied to multidisciplinary engineering computations, such as heat transfer and structural analysis. Mathematically, visualization of multiphysics processes is implemented in three categories of fields, namely the visualization of scalar fields, vector fields, and tensor fields. Respectively, the presentation discusses basic visualization techniques for scalar, vector and tensor fields, supported with illustrations of typical physical fields like temperatures, displacements and velocities.
